Eddy Hsu was born and raised in Queens , New York . He came to California to attend the University of California , Berkeley where he majored in Economics and minored in Business Administration. He attended the University of San Francisco School of Law where his main focus was family law. During law school he externed for a San Francisco Superior Court Judge and he was the executive editor for the USF Intellectual Property Law Bulletin.
